Badstuber is another product of the Bayern munich youth academy and progressed through the youth setup and eventually played for the reserve team before signing professional terms in July 2009, along with team-mate Thomas Muller , having been an unused substitute in a number of first-team matches in the 2008-2009 season. He made his debut in the first league game of the 2009-2010 season, against Hoffenheim and has been a regular in defence. He scored his first senior goal, a powerful free kick, against Borussia Monchengladbach on 4 December 2009. A centre back by training, he has been playing out of position at left back, a problematic position so that Philipp Lahm can cover at right back, another problematic position. The youngster has impressed so far and, along with Lahm and Schweinsteiger, are the few players to have started every league game since matchday 1.
On 4 February 2010 Bayern Munich announced that Badstuber had signed a new contract that would keep him at the club until 2014. (issue about his contract: Holger Badstuber (20 sat) relaxed in early January under the global highest tower in Dubai and spoke of how secure he felt as the root strength of FC Bayern. He was plagued by “no self-doubt that I could lose my place.” Like! A few weeks ago, before Christmas, had renovated the inside and full back, his contract with FC Bayern. Valid until then runs until 30 June 2011 was extended by an additional three years, so now it ends on 30 June 2014. Of course, were not only the calendar but also changed the income for relevant data. Badstuber will continue to earn more appropriate.
Such a gift received by now, Thomas Müller (20). The actor actually all Offensivrollen after Christmas last year, has defined his career and also re-signed him for a better employment contract. The offensive has exceptional talent Müller as the exceptional talent prescribed Badstuber defensive end of the season 2013/14 the master record.)
Shortly afterwards, he was called up to the Germany under- 21 team for the first time, making his debut in a 3–1 defeat against Turkey. He was first called up to the senior team as part of the provisional squad for the 2010 World Cup. He made his debut in a warm-up match against Hungary on May 29, coming on as a substitute for Arne Friedrich.
Hmmm.. I love Holger Badstuber.. 🙂
